My Y?
I was destined to become a weather forecaster. An aspiration I entrusted my sister with when I was 10 years old, as we lay on our backs in the grass looking at cloud formations, creating animals and whole new worlds from the shapes. I was rather taken with the idea of analysing weather conditions and wondering what could happen next? In the end, I studied psychology instead of meteorology and began forecasting human behaviour rather than weather patterns. That curiosity took me from market research to strategic marketing, brand innovation, entrepreneurship, and education. Underpinning all these paths has been my love of combining knowledge and wonder.
Ever since, I have been shamelessly chasing that intersection where curiosity meets clarity. Like that ten-year-old, who wanted to become a weather forecaster. I still have one eye on the future with my feet firmly on the ground (but perhaps less need for an umbrella this time round).
With over two decades experience working in the health, beauty, fashion industries and higher education. I have worked for some of the UK’s biggest brands in companies such as Kantar, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Reckitt Benckiser, and Nottingham Trent University. As well as being a freelance consultant and mentor for SME’s and start-ups.
Today, I work at the intersection of psychology, creativity, and intelligent technology - helping people and businesses combine imagination with intelligent tools and frameworks so they can think better together.
I’ve made it my mission to master AI and to help others do the same, without the jargon, hype, or lab coats. Just simple, human, evidence-based thinking.
